About the story.

Inspired by The Slave Narratives from the Federal Writers' Project, 1936 to 1938, and the annual celebration at St. Paul Baptist Church in Brooklyn, MAAFA is a full-length production that weaves together the past and the present to keep in remembrance of the African Holocaust.

“You never have to be Afraid…. Do you see those stars? Count them… they are 7. The 7 unsetting stars… and Like those stars that will never set…. So too are we …. Never forget that you  are the indestructible light. Never forget that We are Sacred.”
